Forms For Ballot Access

We need 10,000 valid signatures (of which at least 400 must come from each congressional district) to put a candidate for President on the Virginia ballot. You can help by gathering signatures, sendng money to CPV to help get professional petitioners to collect signatures, or both.

Technical Note

Make sure when you print the petition form to select 8.5" x 14" paper, and it should be two-sided. It is best to use Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0, available at Adobe.com.

Petition

The Petition needs to be printed/copied on two sides of 8.5" by 14" paper. It should be filled out separately for each district and as much as possible for separate counties in the district. Once the petition is filled out it must be notarized and sent to Mitch Turner, 39465 Charles Town Pike, Hamilton, VA 20158-3321.

Note: You cannot sign a petition you are circulating! Sign a friend's petition, and he can sign yours.

Important note: We have been working with the conservative Independent Green party in VA to get petitioning done. We plan to use their petition (following guidelines by the State Board of Elections) and we are well on our way to being done (about 70% complete). You can use this explanation (memorize it to explain to people quickly why you have the Bloomberg petitions): "Bloomberg and Paul have siad they are not running, so we will be able to switch them to Baldwin and Castle per state rules. This gets Chuck Baldwin on the ballot in Virginia." If you have any questions send us an email. For most people, all you have to say is, "Please sign this petition to get a Presidential candidate on the Virginia ballot in Novenber." If they ask who, say Chuck Baldwin.
